Yogurt is not only for eating, baking or frying. It can also be incorporated in your skincare regimen. Yogurt contains probiotics, and lactic acid which helps to exfoliate and brighten your dead skin cells, to getting rid of black spots, and aids with your overall skin complexion. Honey naturally hydrates the skin and is rich in antioxidants and has anti-microbial properties. Cinnamon is great because it has a warming effect on the skin which brings fresh blood to the surface to kill bacteria and detoxify your skin and gives a healthy and an amazing glow to your skin. Nutmeg helps to reduce any harsh appearance of wrinkles on your face.
- 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Ground nutmeg (a pinch)
- Ground cinnamon (a pinch)
Mix everything thoroughly in a bowl.
Wash face, and pat dry.
Apply the mixture on your face, and let it dry thoroughly. Rinse off, and moisturize with your favorite moisturizer.
